How To Find Out if Someone Blocked Your Phone Number

if someone blocked you on iphone

Have you been wondering why he/she is not picking your call or why your calls are diverted to voice mail. Could it be that your Number has been blocked on their phones ? You ask questions like is “my number blocked ? ” .

iOS formally introduced the blocking feature to iPhones and iPads. You can block a contact on iPhone, preventing them from sending you messages, calling you and Facetiming. If you blocked someone, the process ends there. You don’t have to bother or worry about it anymore. But what if someone else seems to have blocked your number on iPhone? This is how to find out when someone has blocked your Phone number on their iPhones.

There are no notifications or warning showing that someone has blocked your number. You can all find out through behaviors or some detective work. The easiest way to figure out if someone blocked your
number is to consider how your last couple of conversations went. Did you argue, Disagree, Fall out,
Did everything go okay, Was it a first date or meeting, Did it go okay? Would the person you are trying to contact have a good reason to block you? If you answered yes to any of those questions, it may be worth looking further.

This is how to call someone who blocked you in other to find out if the person who you suspect to have blocked your line really did. The observation is interesting. In the tests we conducted, we found out that you hear exactly one ring and then you’re diverted to voice mail.

This can also happen even if someone willingly cut the call after one ring but the chances of that are very thin. Try calling multiple times and when you are cut to voice mail after one ring, you can most likely assume that you’ve been blocked.

Sometimes, the one-ring-then-voice-mail pattern doesn’t happen. Instead, what you hear is a continuous busy tone that gets cut after a while. If the same thing happens no matter when you call, that’s an indication that you’ve been blocked.

Also You can try calling the same number by using a friend’s phone, a payphone if you can find one or a phone somewhere else. If they answer then you can conclude that you have been blocked from calling.

Another way to test whether you’ve been blacklisted is to find out whether they’re getting your iMessages.  This is a way to send a blocked text message. If last you knew the recipient had their read receipts enabled and it’s now only displaying “Delivered” after you send, you should be suspicious. The same way, if they aren’t the read-receipt type, but there’s neither confirmation it’s been received (a “Delivered” message beneath your blue bubble) nor an error message suggesting you re-send as a text, something may be up.
