Steven Hawking, a scientist, astronomer, mathematician, cosmologist and author of numerous books has died. He died at the age of 76, Steven hawking suffered from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis which was diagnosed in 1963. The disease is a neurodegenerative disease which is commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Steven hawking was born in Oxford, England on January 8, 1942 and he was just 21 years when the disease was diagnosed and then the doctors told him that he only have a few years to live but their surprise he lived more than they expected. The disease later paralyzed steven hawking which made him to be using the wheel chair and he depended on the technology for almost everything that he was doing. Steven hawking also used speech synthesizer which enables him to speak in an American accent.

Steven Hawking married his first wife Jane Wilde when he was a grad student and they lived for 30 years before they divorced. He later married one of his former nurse Elaine Mason for about 11 years. Steven hawkings had three children; Robert,Tim and Lucy and three grandchildren.
