  • Green Tea

Green Tea contains flavonoids and tannin which helps to fight bacteria and reduce inflammation which are the two main causes of acne. To make your own Green Tea treatment, steep the green tea in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Then allow the tea too cool, apply the tea to the affected skin by using cotton ball or pour it into a spray bottle to spritz on. Allow it to dry, then rinse with water and pat dry or you can simply buy creams and lotion that contains Green tea.

  • Garlic

Many traditional medicine practitioners use garlic to treat infections and boost the body’s ability to fight germs and infections. Garlic contains organosulfur compounds, which have natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Organosulfur compounds can also help to boost the immune system, which helps the body fight infections. Add Garlic to your diet or you can chew whole garlic cloves because too much of it burns the skin, rub it on toast or make it into a hot drink.

  • Aloe Vera

Aloe vera gel is often added to lotions, creams, oitments and soaps to treat rashes, abrasions, burns and other skin conditions. Aloe vers helps to treat burns, heal wounds and fight inflammation. Coconut oil may also speed up healing in open acne sores. Rub pure virgin coconut oil directly to the area with acne.

  • Reduce Stress

Stress releases hormones which increases sebum production and skin inflammation and all these makes the acne worse. Stress increases acne severity. To reduce stress, you need to get more sleep, practice yoga, Meditate, engage in physical activity and take a deep breath.
